Day 1 – Arrival in Ljubljana
Arrival at Ljubljana Airport and transfer to your hotel. Free time to rest or explore.
Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
Day 2 – Ljubljana
Guided tour of Slovenia’s capital. Stroll along the Ljubljanica River, cross iconic bridges (Dragon Bridge, Triple Bridge), and visit buildings designed by Jože Plečnik, including the National Library and University Palace. End at Ljubljana Castle with panoramic views.
Afternoon free. Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
Day 3 – The Julian Alps
Transfer to the Julian Alps. Explore Vintgar Gorge, then visit Bled Castle for breathtaking views of Lake Bled. Enjoy a pletna boat ride to Bled Island and visit the Church of the Assumption.
Overnight stay in the Julian Alps area.
Day 4 – Soča River Valley
Scenic drive over Vršič Pass with stops at the Russian Chapel and alpine viewpoints. Descend into the Trenta Valley and visit the emerald Soča River, Bovec, and Kobarid.
Return to your hotel in the Julian Alps area.
Day 5 – Velika Planina & Kamnik
Cable car ride to the Velika Planina plateau, followed by a scenic circular walk through a traditional shepherds’ village. Sample local dairy products. Afternoon visit to Kamnik, a beautifully preserved medieval town.
Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
Day 6 – Karst Region & Slovenian Coast
Visit Postojna Cave by electric train — Europe’s largest public-access cave. Then see Predjama Castle, dramatically built into a cliffside. Continue to Piran, a Venetian-style coastal town, before returning to Ljubljana.

Day 7 – Ptuj & Jeruzalem Wine Region
Transfer east to Ptuj, Slovenia’s oldest town. Visit Ptuj Castle and stroll the medieval streets. In the afternoon, explore the vineyard-covered hills of Jeruzalem with a wine tasting at a traditional winery.
Return to Ljubljana. Overnight stay.
Day 8 – Departure
Free time before transfer to Ljubljana, Trieste, Treviso, or Venice Airport.
