Day 1 – Arrival in Ljubljana
Your Best of Slovenia trip begins with your arrival at Ljubljana Airport, followed by a private transfer to your hotel. Alternatively, you can also arrive via Zagreb, Venice, or Trieste, depending on the best flight connections from your hometown.

Day 2 – Explore Ljubljana
After breakfast, meet your private guide for a walking tour through Slovenia’s charming capital. Stroll along the banks of the Ljubljanica River and cross iconic bridges, such as Jože Plečnik’s Triple Bridge and the elegant Dragon Bridge. Discover historic landmarks including the University, National Library, Cathedral of St. Nicholas, and the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation on Prešeren Square. End your tour with a visit to Ljubljana Castle for panoramic views of the city and distant Alps.
Enjoy a free afternoon to explore independently — sip coffee by the river, catch a street performance, or try traditional local cuisine.

Day 3 – Velika Planina & Kamnik
After breakfast, travel to the Velika Planina plateau. Choose to hike or take a cable car up to a charming shepherds’ village known for its traditional wooden huts and fresh dairy products like sour milk and trnič cheese.
In the afternoon, visit Kamnik, one of Slovenia’s most important medieval towns, for a scenic stroll through its old town center. Return to Ljubljana in the evening.

Day 4 – Bled & Bohinj
Start the day with a trip to Bled, one of Slovenia’s most iconic alpine towns. Visit the fairy-tale Bled Castle, perched above Lake Bled, and enjoy the view of its small island and the surrounding Julian Alps. Take a traditional pletna boat ride to the island and ring the wishing bell at the Church of the Assumption.
In the afternoon, continue to nearby Bohinj, Slovenia’s largest lake nestled in Triglav National Park. Visit the lakeside Church of St. John the Baptist or hike to the impressive Savica Waterfall. Weather permitting, you may swim in the lake or rent a canoe. Return to Ljubljana in the evening.

Day 5 – Koper & Piran
After breakfast, head to Slovenia’s Adriatic coast. Begin in Koper, a port city that has retained its medieval charm. Explore Tito Square and its elegant historical buildings, including the Praetorian Palace.
Continue to the romantic town of Piran, known for its narrow alleyways and Venetian architecture. Walk through Tartini Square, climb to St. George’s Cathedral, and enjoy views over the Adriatic Sea.
Optional stop on the return to Ljubljana: the village of Hrastovlje, home to a 15th-century church famous for its preserved frescoes.

Day 6 – Kranjska Gora, Vršič Pass & Soča Valley
Travel north to Kranjska Gora, a scenic alpine town and popular year-round sports destination. Then drive the panoramic route over the Vršič Pass into the stunning Soča Valley.
En route, stop at the Russian Chapel — a WWI memorial — and take in the beauty of the emerald-green Soča River. Visit Bovec, where optional activities like rafting or zip-lining are available.
Continue to Kobarid, historically significant for its role in the Isonzo Front during WWI. Visit the Kobarid Museum or hike to the striking Kozjak Waterfall.
Return to Ljubljana in the evening. (Alternate option: Day trip to Maribor and Ptuj.)

Day 7 – Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle
