Day 1 – Airport – Ljubljana
Arrive in Ljubljana or a nearby airport. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a private guided walking tour of Ljubljana, including the Triple and Dragon Bridges, Congress Square, the National Library, and Ljubljana Castle for panoramic views. Free time to explore and dine independently.
Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
Day 2 – Ljubljana – Velika Planina – Kamnik – Ljubljana
After breakfast, transfer to the Velika Planina plateau. Choose to hike or take a cable car to the traditional shepherds’ village and sample local dairy products. In the afternoon, stroll through Kamnik’s medieval old town before returning to Ljubljana.

Day 3 – Ljubljana – Maribor – Ptuj – Celje
Depart for Maribor, Slovenia’s second-largest city. Visit its cathedrals and the oldest vine in the world along the Drava River. Continue to Ptuj, the country’s oldest town, and explore its hilltop castle. End the day in Celje.

Day 4 – Celje – Logarska Valley – Bled
Tour the mighty Celje Castle and learn about the noble Counts of Celje. Continue through the breathtaking Logarska Valley and visit Rinka Waterfall. Scenic drive through Palič Pass and Jezersko on the way to alpine town Bled.

Day 5 – Bled – Bohinj – Bled
Visit Bled Castle and take a traditional pletna boat to Bled Island. Later, explore Lake Bohinj, the Church of St. John, and Savica Waterfall. Optional swim or canoe if weather permits.

Day 6 – Bled – Kranjska Gora – Soča Valley
Walk through Kranjska Gora before driving over Vršič Pass to reach the Soča Valley. Visit the Russian Chapel and the emerald Soča River. Option for rafting or zipline in Bovec. Conclude in Kobarid with a museum or Kozjak Waterfall visit.

Day 7 – Soča Valley – Goriška Brda – Karst – Coast
Drive to Goriška Brda, Slovenia’s “Tuscany,” and enjoy wine tasting and cherries in season. Explore the Karst region and visit Štanjel or the Lipica Stud Farm. Transfer to the coast.

Day 8 – Slovenian Coast
Visit Piran’s Venetian architecture and red-roofed streets. In the afternoon, explore Koper’s Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque architecture including the City Tower and Praetor’s Palace.

Day 9 – Coast – Postojna – Predjama – Ljubljana
Tour Postojna Cave via electric train and walk through its most dramatic formations. Visit nearby Predjama Castle, built into a cliffside cave. Transfer to Ljubljana.

Breakfast and transfer to the airport, or continue your trip to Zagreb or elsewhere in the Balkans.
