Hotel Starkl – Heritage & Unique is a historic family-run hotel standing on the shores of Lake Bled, with a proud tradition dating back to 1928. Fully renovated in 2021, its 12 rooms and 2 suites are decorated in tones of gold, green, and royal blue, each headboard adorned with the legend of the sunken bell. The on-site Starkl Restaurant serves a fusion of Mediterranean and traditional Slovenian cuisine prepared from fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Guests can rent boats directly in front of the hotel to visit the famous wishing bell on Bled Island, while fishing, horseback riding, and skiing are all available nearby.
